The ability to mount the Dell XPS One to a wall or any mounting system requires that the computer has a VESA compliant interface to attach to. For the size and the weight of the XPS One, it is suggested that the VESA interface provide the 100 x 100mm or 75mm x 75mm hole pattern for attachment. Furthermore, to remain industry standard 4mm screw fasteners are used.

In discussing the adapter kit project with clients and Dell users, a few requirements for the VESA mount kit were indicated. The top 3 requirements being:

(1) The adapter kit would allow for the stand to be removed and the display to mount closely to the wall. This was important because many users consider their XPS One a secondary media center "TV".

The bracket interface provides the necessary 75mm x 75mm and 100 x 100mm hole attachment with holes tapped for 4mm fasteners. The bracket is esthetically suitable for the Dell XPS One and allows full access to all the ports on the rear of the display.
